The university strictly prohibits all forms of academic misconduct, especially plagiarism, to maintain its academic integrity and encourage independent thinking and innovation. All graduate students' dissertations must pass the Plagiarism Detection before the oral defense.

The Library strongly recommends the applicant do not provide his/her thesis to others for plagiarism detection. It may risk leaking their theses content and plagiarism misjudgment.

Each postgraduate is entitled to one free plagiarism detection for their thesis/dissertation, which must first be approved by their advisor. For any subsequent plagiarism checks, a fee of HKD/MOP 200 will be automatically deducted from MustPay. If the auto-deduction from MustPay fails, students must resubmit the application and settle the payment.
