The Textbook Service is centrally managed by the University Library. Based on booklists designated by faculties and course instructors, it provides comprehensive textbook ordering and distribution support for all university students and staff. 📚 1. Booklist Coordination and Procurement Management

  • Collect, review, and consolidate textbook lists submitted by faculties

  • Solicit quotations and negotiate purchases with publishers and book suppliers in Mainland China, overseas, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan

  • Organize textbook ordering, procurement, and distribution for the two semesters (Spring and Fall) and summer sessions each academic year

📦 2. Textbook Supply and Inventory Management

  • Manage textbook retail, reserve stock, and inventory control

  • Organize the printing and supply of university "self-compiled teaching materials"

🔧 3. System Development and Policy Support

  • Draft, revise, and improve regulations related to textbook ordering and collection

  • Assist the Information Technology Development Office (ITDO) in developing and optimizing the WeMust Student APP "Bookstore" module and its backend management system

📊 4. Teaching Resource Research and Quality Feedback

  • Continuously monitor course offerings, enrollment numbers, and program structures across faculties

  • Collect feedback from students and instructors on textbook quality and suitability

  • Gather information on high-quality textbooks from Mainland China, overseas, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, regularly providing recommended lists to faculties

  • Analyze and summarize textbook usage to inform teaching resource development
