📚 Textbook Inquiry and Ordering [↑]

Q1: How do I order textbooks?

A: Please log in to the WeMust Student APP, go to the "Textbooks" section, add the required textbooks to your shopping cart, and complete the payment.

Q2: How can I check the booklists for my courses?

A: Two methods available:

  1. University Library Website: Go to "Textbook Services" → "Latest Booklist"

  2. WeMust APP: Open the "Textbooks" function and click the "i" icon in the lower right corner

Q3: Why isn't my course textbook on the list?

A: Possible reasons: (1) The course does not require textbooks, or the instructor has not submitted the booklist; (2) The course only has Reference Books (RB) and no required Course Books (CB).

🎓Arrangements for New Students [↑]

Q4: How do new undergraduate students collect their textbooks?

A: The library will prepare the first semester's textbooks for each new undergraduate student. No action is required in the WeMust app. Students should follow the registration process on enrollment day to collect textbooks at the designated location.

Q5: How do new postgraduate students order books?

A: Based on faculty-submitted lists, the library prepares a list of required first-semester print Course Books (CB) for each new postgraduate student. Please log into WeMust "Textbooks" → click "Orders" at the bottom to view your list. You can adjust items based on your needs and proceed with payment.

Q6: Can new postgraduate students switch from print to e-textbooks?

A: Yes, if you have not yet paid, you can cancel the print textbook, add the e-textbook instead, and complete the payment.

Q7: I am a new postgraduate student, but my order list is empty. Why?

A: Possible reasons: The course does not require textbooks, or it only has Reference Books (RB) that need to be purchased separately.

📦 Textbook Delivery and Payment [↑]

Q8: When will my textbooks arrive?

A:

  • Print Textbooks: Typically 2-3 months after ordering period closes (1-6 weeks if stock in HK/Asia).

  • E-Textbooks: Usually within 1-2 weeks.

Q9: My textbooks haven't arrived yet, but I need them for class. What should I do?

A: Please wait patiently. Most printed textbooks are shipped to Macao from overseas. If stock is available in HK or Asia, they arrive within 1-6 weeks. E-textbooks generally take 1-2 weeks.

Q10: Why did I receive a balance payment notice?

A: If the actual price differs from the amount paid (due to faculty changes or publisher updates), a balance payment notice will be issued in WeMust. Please settle it promptly.

🔄 Return and Cancellation Policies [↑]

Q11: Can I return or exchange textbooks if I ordered the wrong ones?

A: No. Textbooks cannot be returned or refunded for any reason. Please verify your order carefully.

Q12: Can I return textbooks if my course is canceled?

A: The library will negotiate with the publisher. If agreed, the fee will be refunded to your WeMust wallet after the collection period ends.

📖 Textbook Collection [↑]

Q13: How do I book a collection appointment?

A: Only for September: Collection requires an appointment. For other semesters: No appointment needed. Collect during office hours.

Q14: How do I collect my textbooks?

A:

  • September: Collect at the designated location at your appointed time.

  • Other Semesters: Present your Collection Code at the designated location during office hours.

Q15: Do I need to collect e-textbooks on-site?

A: No. Go to WeMust App → "Textbooks" → "E-books" to view passwords and activation instructions.

Q16: Can someone else collect my textbooks for me?

A: Yes. An authorized person may collect on your behalf by presenting your Collection Code or proof.

Q17: Can textbooks be mailed to me?

A: The library does not offer textbook mailing services.

Q18: How long is the textbook collection period?

A: Notifications will be sent before the deadline. If textbooks are not collected by the deadline, they will be considered abandoned with no refund.

💻 E-Textbook Usage Instructions [↑]

Q19: Can I share my e-textbook with other students?

A: No. All e-textbook passwords are for single-user only.

Q20: What is the usage period for e-textbooks?

A: Generally 180 or 360 days after activation. Check the "Remarks" in the booklist for specific periods.

Q21: How do I activate my e-textbook?

A: Methods vary by publisher. Check WeMust App → "Textbooks" → "E-books" → "User Guide" for instructions.

Q22: What should I do if my e-textbook cannot be activated?

A: Common issues: (1) Input Error; (2) Incorrect Activation Method; (3) Incorrect Email; (4) Publisher System Error.

Q23: How long does it take for e-textbooks to arrive?

A: Typically 1-2 weeks after ordering. The library will follow up with publishers to expedite delivery.

📅 System Opening and Late Order Period [↑]

Q24: When does the MUSTbook system open for student orders?

A: Fall: mid-to-late May. Spring: mid-to-late December.

Q25: Can I order textbooks after the semester starts?

A: Yes. However, late orders incur an additional 10% charge and are only for e-textbooks.
